The two-day Localizing SDGs Workshop was conducted with MPAG involving council members, MPAG Department Heads as well as Alor Gajah stakeholders and stakeholders including government agencies, organizations, academics and NGOs. MPAG is one of the first local authorities under the Malaysia SDG Cities program introduced by Urbanice Malaysia. The main objective of this workshop is to obtain the current diagnostics and direction of Alor Gajah in the 2030 Agenda and indirectly provide awareness on the importance of the SDGs at all levels.

The closing session of the workshop was officiated by the Melaka Exco for Housing, Local Government and Environment, Y.Berbahagia Datuk Zaidi Attan and the President of MPAG, Y. Berusaha Tuan Mohd Fadhil Bin Hassan.
