About Event

Urbanice Malaysia dibawah Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) menghadiri mesyuarat Majlis Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (#SDG) Negara buat julung kali pada 5 September 2022 sejak penubuhannya pada 2016. Mesyuarat ini dipengerusikan oleh dipengerusikan oleh YAB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Perdana Menteri Malaysia di Putrajaya.Mesyuarat bersetuju untuk menubuhkan Pusat SDG Negara di bawah Unit Perancang Ekonomi, Jabatan Perdana Menteri bagi memperkasa dan mempergiat program-program serta memantau kemajuan SDG negara. Dalam masa yang sama, setiap negeri akan menyediakan Laporan Semakan Tempatan (VLR) di peringkat bandaran dan daerah oleh PBT dan Kerajaan-kerajaan negeri melalui Malaysia SDG Cities oleh Urbanice Malaysia. Sekurang-kurangnya satu laporan akan dihasilkan oleh setiap negeri.Kerajaan komited untuk mencapai Agenda 2030 dan memperkukuhkan tindakan mencapai 17 SDG bagi menjadi negara mampan menjelang 2030 dengan melibatkan seluruh Keluarga Malaysia dalam arus pembangunan sosioekonomi negara.

Urbanice Malaysia under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) attended the National Sustainable Development Goals (#SDG) Council meeting for the first time on 5 September 2022 since its establishment in 2016. This meeting was chaired by chaired by YAB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Prime Minister Malaysia in Putrajaya.The meeting agreed to establish a National SDG Center under the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department to strengthen and intensify programs and monitor the progress of the country's SDGs. At the same time, each state will prepare a Local Review Report (VLR) at the city and district level by PBT and state governments through Malaysia SDG Cities by Urbanice Malaysia. At least one report will be produced by each state.The government is committed to achieving the 2030 Agenda and strengthening actions to achieve the 17 SDGs to become a sustainable country by 2030 by involving the entire Malaysian family in the current of the nation's socioeconomic development
