URBANICE Malaysia will be participating in the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 17–22 May 2026, under the theme “Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities.”

Our presence at WUF13 will encompass Malaysia’s active participation and knowledge-sharing, including the Malaysia Pavilion, alongside contributions to partner-led sessions, strategic dialogues, and engagements hosted by international partners.

Through these platforms, URBANICE Malaysia will share Malaysia’s experience in advancing SDG localisation, city-led implementation, resilient housing, circular economy, and sustainable urban development, while strengthening collaboration with cities, governments, international organisations and urban practitioners.

Selected partner-led sessions will also be available in hybrid mode, allowing participants to join virtually.

To access the online sessions, participants are required to:

  1. Register for WUF13 through the UN-Habitat GEMS platform https://events.unhabitat.org/
  2. Use the same email registered in GEMS when accessing the official WUF13 app
  3. Click “Request access” when the pop-up appears in the app

Whether in Baku or online, we look forward to connecting with partners, cities and urban practitioners in shaping safer, more inclusive and resilient urban futures.

See you at WUF13.
